Academic Resources:
Here are the apps we use in our classroom. I have sent home information on Seesaw and how to connect to Dreambox in your child's communication folder. If you need the information again. Please contact me. I would be happy to send home the information again.
Please connect with me on Seesaw to see your child's work and pictures.
Reading A-Z (RAZ-KIDs) is an excellent resource for beginning readers. There are settings where the book is read to your child, your child can read along and there are questions to help your child comprehend the story. We use this app during our guided reading groups as an independent station.
Dreambox is the app we use doing our guided math groups. There are math games for students to complete on their own. The games become more challenging as your child's skill set grows. This is to keep them learning!
Social Resources
These resources are available for all families at Nellie Stone Johnson Community School. I have sent out information on all of these programs. If you are interested in these resources please contact me for more information.
I have also send home information on Sheridan Story. It is a nonprofit that serves families dealing with hunger. They send home meals to families in need. I have sent home bright green cards for your family to complete and return if you would benefit from their services. If you would like another card sent home please contact me and I will put it in your child's communication folder.
